The core of this pump is a front pump with a displacement of 45 cc/rev and a rear pump with a displacement of 53 cc/rev (determined by 045 and C3 in the code), which can provide powerful hydraulic power for multi-actuator systems. It adopts a sturdy 2-bolt SAE flange installation method (code F) and a 14-tooth, 12/24 pitch splined shaft (code G7), ensuring reliable connection with the engine and power transmission.

In terms of control, the front pump is equipped with an A2 type electronic control system, which is an electronic displacement control (EDC) with a 12V high-gain valve core, enabling precise displacement regulation. The rear pump adopts a C-type mechanical displacement limiter, and the maximum displacement is set mechanically. Its core hydraulic unit adopts the D1 type center section, which integrates a 12V control shut-off valve. In terms of safety performance, all four working ports (A, B, C, D) are equipped with high-pressure safety shut-off valves (HPS) up to 400 bar (code 40), providing top-level protection for the system. In addition, it integrates a 24-cc gear-type pilot pump (code P), which provides an oil source for the pilot control system. The pilot pressure is set by a 28-bar pilot relief valve (code 28). This pump is also equipped with an SAE B standard auxiliary drive interface (code PN), which can be used to drive additional hydraulic pumps. To sum up, this model is a high-performance, highly safe and fully functional hydraulic power unit, which is very suitable for high-end application scenarios such as construction machinery and mining equipment that require complex hydraulic functions and extremely high reliability.

Rear shaft manufacturing process and design change

Description

Changeshave been made to the center section casting, the charge relief valve and the nomenclature on

045/053cc H1 tandem pumps. The center section casting redesign changes the appearance of the

casting, but there are no changes to the overall size and port locations.

A new valve (GENIII) replaces the current charge pressure relief valve. It is smaller and has a slightly

different rise rate.

The new centersections and charge relief valves are not interchangeable with the old ones. Kits contain

the new center section and relief valve.

As part of these changes, a nomenclature change has been incorporated. The changes do not affect the

model number. The current two letter designation will change to a two number designation.

Danfoss Power Solutions has made a a manufacturing process change to the rear shaft on H1 45/53cc

tandem pumps. Production will change from machined bar stock to a forged process, which will cause a

change in design and appearance.

The new forging process adds material above the internal splines. Because of this added material, the old

part cannot be substituted for the new part. The new part can be substituted for the old.

The spline location will remain the same from the old part to the new part
