The Danfoss TMT 400 orbital motor is designed for high-torque applications such as forestry harvesters, beet harvesters, heavy compactors, and other demanding mobile machinery.
With 410.9 cm³ displacement, it delivers 1,520 Nm continuous torque, up to 2,355 Nm peak torque, and supports up to 125 L/min continuous flow. Its high starting torque ensures smooth and reliable operation under heavy loads.

Builds are ordered by code rather than by description: 151Z3012 for the plain 40 mm shaft on the 160 mm flange, 151Z3022 for the same flange with a 1-1/2 in splined shaft, 151Z3028 for the splined shaft on the smaller 125 mm flange, and 151Z3062 for the US build with 1-1/16-12 UN ports. Side-port bodies, the 125 mm spigot and the 45 mm tapered shaft are quoted on request.

How long may the motor run at 350 bar?

Up to one tenth of every minute. The 400 bar figure is a peak rating and applies for one percent of each minute; the two allowances run separately and are never added together. Size the average of the duty cycle against the continuous figure.

What oil flow should the pump provide?

125 L/min covers continuous duty at 305 rpm and 150 L/min covers intermittent operation at 360 rpm. Supplying more flow than the frame allows will not raise the shaft speed, because the maximum speed rating governs regardless of the oil available.
